Put On A Smile has several volunteers and workers across the United States, Canada, and India who are actively engaged in indentifying who needs help and provide them with assistance. With help, they smile and when they smile, we smile. We arrange for safe and nurturing places where children can have a meal; seniors can have food that meet their specific nutritional needs; and a chance at stability for adults trying to break the cycle of poverty and hunger – all these acts puts smile on our people.
The key difference in our charitable organization is the transparency – your help and support directly impacts the lives that you care for. The founders of our organization felt the severe need of this transparency and desired that every dollar that is collected reaches to them.
Credibility and accountability have always been the bench mark for POAS and are achieved through the promotion of principles of good governance in the processes and practices. Our management process and practices are in full compliance with the principles of good governance, This is the only way we will work and be effective,
There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of his or her way to make life better for the less fortunate. And yet, the act of serving others replenishes our own lives as well; it is a privilege to actively honor the lives of those trapped in complicated and difficult conditions.
POAS Foundation works to support the achievement of those who work with development goals, and continues to support in its advancement. POAS’s scope of work is consistent with its mission to serve the least, the last and the lost. In doing so, it strives for: health promotion, educational values and bringing dignity to individual’s life.
Caring for elderly citizens who are deprived of family support, healthy living and basic lifestyle are our immediate goal. POAS is committed to provide them with food and shelter and embrace them with family values.
Education is the most basic building block of a nation. It creates opportunities as much as it enriches a person’s well being. However, majority of our children still do not have access to it. Hence, POAS firmly stands behind sustainable development goal in ensuring there is an inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities to all. POAS will create opportunities for all- for those who can contribute and for those who can benefit from this process.
